Position Title: Program Coordinator
Status: Full-Time
Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000, based on experience and qualifications
Position Summary
The Program Coordinator works closely with the Program Director and will oversee multiple programs within partner schools throughout the state of South Carolina. Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing the O6 Afterschool program, fostering a nurturing environment with partner schools and students, and supporting opportunities for growth and development within partner schools and with students.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure programs adhere to organizational requirements
2. Oversee enrollment strategies, student recruitment, and data collection in cooperation with school site coordinators
3. Develop relationships and work with partner teachers and the local community
4. Heavy travel (25-30%) to partner schools throughout the state to observe, engage, and identify program needs
5. Work closely with the Program Director and partners to continuously improve program impact
6. Serve as an advocate for partner schools and programs
7. Engage and support staff in implementing activities to achieve program goals
8. Capture photos and stories to help tell the Foundation’s story.
9. Develop a social media calendar to highlight programs
10. Implement applicable agency and grant program requirements and changes
11. Facilitate partnerships with appropriate school leaders to support programs and students
12. Maintain records needed for program administration and monitoring
13. Oversee program data reporting calendar and data collection
14. Aid in the evaluation of current partner school sites
15. Support organizational fundraisers and events as needed
16. Report to the Program Director for other duties, as assigned
Qualifications, Competencies, and Skills
· Professional experience in education, youth development, nonprofit programming, or another related field
· Must have good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work as part of a team, receive and provide feedback, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing
· Possess initiative, able to multitask and solve problems
· Able to work well with people
· Prior experience in program development, evaluation, and implementation
· Possess strong leadership skills and attention to detail
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in education or related field, preferred
· Ability to travel extensively to partner schools throughout the state during after school hours
· Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance or access to reliable transportation
